WELCOME to the Desk and Derrick Club of Graham, TX

The Desk and Derrick Club in Graham has a membership of 50 plus members and has been in existence 62 years having joind the Association in 1953.  Our club has a dedicated member base and has had the support of the community and our employers from the beginning.  Our employers fully support our Annual Golf Classic, our largest money-raising project, and frequently give monthly industry programs to the club.  The Industry Appreciation Banquet in October is attended by members, bosses, their guests and many members of the community.  Desk and Derrick is well known in the area because of our support for community projects and the scholarships we give every year to graduating high school seniors.  We strive to always be respected representatives of the oil and gas industry in our area.

 

Graham is a city of approximately 10,000 located in the rolling hills of North Central Texas approximately 90 miles from Fort Worth and 60 miles from Wichita Falls.  Graham is also about 30 miles from beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake.  The economy of Graham is primarily based on the oil and gas industry, farming and ranching.

 

Graham was established in 1872 by Graham brothers, Edwin and Gustovous, who planned the structure of the town and gave it the largest downtown square in America.  Members of the Graham family are still very active in the community and also involved in the oil and gas industry.
